Hello Gang this was one of my original posting above for
the DVD coming out a few months back but now that it's out I can't believe what they've done to it!
I'm here again posting about what they have done to our beloved episodes of the finally Officially released 2 seasons of Witchblade! I can't believe
they've gone and replace the very bold and excellently place songs in the show!
IT BLOWS THE MIND!! These classic songs and artist used in the original show is what gave the show
such heart and I must admit I've only scene the one episode that touch the heart with its musical choice, So only that one I can say has been butchered
like that. So I must reserve my full judgment until my buddy and I review more. After I went home I watched the two hour pilot movie I called him immediately
to find out if they tampered with the opening song by
I've been going through my recordings of the show I have on VHS and it almost brings me to tears to even think such great moments, in such an awesome show have been tampered with in such a way it's a true violation. As we all know the second season was literally a rerun of the first with just a twist on events and how they unfolded.
As I watched "Emergence" and then "Destiny" the first and second episodes of the second season just as wide eyed as the first time, I got to the part were she yet again meets Gabriel at it his home / workplace and I was shocked they used the same howling song from the first season "Shambala" from Three Dog Night, oh so fitting a song it was for Gabriel it again nearly brought me to tears knowing it has been cut out of the DVD version sigh... Thanks to this site Sounds of The Witchblade I was able to name some of the songs like a dunder head I couldn't or didn't know the titles of. So check out the site for yourself if you don't have the or original episodes and all you have is the new and art sure what IS supposed to be there here it is http://home.columbus.rr.com/camryworks/NewWBFrame.htm
Sara goes to Dominique's cell and then after that finds Gabriel in her apartment from the episode titled "Diplopia," that song Don't Fear The
Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult has also been replaced! Come on people, They've replaced "Don't Fear The Reaper are they insane!!!!
